where are you going? Are you one of those people where it is important to know…where you go? Or do you just go… do you find yourself in new places…or just places you have already been? do you ever wonder what happens during the hours you are sleeping…

Do you live in a city? I do… and sometimes I think about what all those people are doing behind all those windows… that look like stars from far away…

If there is one thing I can say about the city, you would be happiest on a bike… a bike in the city is faster than a race car! sometimes I wonder what it would be like if everyone wore pajamas and rode their bikes everyday? It would be quite fun!

But it can get hard…living in a city at night when the windows have to replace the stars and the people are too high up to talk to and you are too confused to know which way is good, sew we must go…

collages and drawing of a old white masc person conducting cartoon animals in the forest

It is good to go… when we hold still for too long our boned get sore and it is very easy to learn new things in new places from new people… Sometimes the most unlikely people can tell you some very important things… This is Steve…

Steve is a wonderful man who thinks that trees are more beautiful than most people…

He thinks that composers embed in their music rhythmic and harmonic patterns organized to produce goosebumps in the performers at specific and repeatable points which in turn produce waves of emotions in the listeners

His orchestra includes excitable animals such as Bears, Gorillas and Geese!

Steve must soon be on his way to tibet to teach a wooly yak to yodel, and so with your brain a little more full you too continue on your way…

And sometimes people ask you questions you don’t know the answer to and sometimes as you make choices you find yourself holding a pickle with your foot in a bucket of dried cement and you can’t get out of bed because it is in the middle of the sea…and your only answer in “I don’t know what happened?!”

This is a very hard part…

I cannot tell you how to get your foot out of cement and I cannot explain hoe to turn a pickle into a kite… all I can tell you is that…

It will be difficult, but I have confidence in you and you will have to find the strength that is you and in the end you will see

“ It was hard but it didn’t hurt me…”

pop up book mountains unfolding with two people sitting infront of the lifesized book

We have only two pictures of Chopin, and who the heck wrote Happy Birthday?

And when we are all lost at sea we will find port again… and there will be others there who just came into port too…

It’s nice to think about being a sloth surrounded by moths, and sometimes people put their shows on backwards…

Sew as you go take it nice and slow, let you attention run wild, learn about things, and ask lots of questions! I think that you will find that even when things are tough there is sew much to love and you are not alone…
